23rd-24th June 2009: The Cheshire Show
The WI has a Marquee at the Cheshire Show. Christine (christine.hession@btinternet.com) has a booklet on it should you want to know more. It's been kindly suggested that, perhaps, as a new group we should help out in the marquee (refreshments, stewards, etc) and suss out the competition rather than enter a class. Though, if you are confident - please do enter as an individual and we'll be right behind you. Again, Christine will have the information. Watch this space.

Confused? I was - then I looked at the Photos and all became clear. It looks like a good laugh. Pimms anyone? (Photos of the WI Marquee 2008)
Do let us know if you want to enter.

I'd love to have a go at Class 3 (picnic in the park) and/or Class 10 (my favourite things). Maybe we can run through the classes at the meeting and see who's interested?
ReplyDeleteSorry I was ill and missed February’s meeting - I was given a lovely bunch of flowers though. It sounds like you all had fun - and an auction! Whatever next? Actually Napkin Decoupage ... I looked at a short demo on you tube to find out about it. Looks like Mothers Day pressies will all be sorted!
ReplyDeleteSee you all next time at the new venue (with my hairdryer in hand).
